What is an A.A. group?

Any gathering of two or more alcoholics who wish to recover and have no other affiliation may call themselves an A.A. group. Membership at the group level is open to all who have a desire to recover from alcoholism. There are no dues, fees, requirements or restrictions of any kind. There’s no formal application to join a group.

What’s the purpose of A.A. groups? All groups exist to help those who suffer from the disease of alcoholism.

ZOOM:

If your group wants to host ZOOM meetings, District recommends that each Home Group purchase their own ZOOM account and host ZOOM meetings at their regularly scheduled times so that members can continue to "meet" during this time when face-to-face meetings are no longer available.

NOTE: If you are an individual, you do NOT need to purchase an account in order to attend ZOOM meetings.

OTHER ONLINE MEETING formats:

There are other methods of meeting online. ZOOM seems be one of the favorites, but if your group uses a different format, we still want you to inform us so we can post your meeting online.

Be sure to notify the WEBMASTER of your group's online meetings to get your them added to the ONLINE MEETING LISTING!
